This kind of beeing patriotic is more than just fine!
BTW - why not using patriotic colors sometime?! People from other countries do it so often and the colors even become some kind of a lable I think which can be pretty nice also.
As far as we are from germany its always a little of a tightrope walk using patriotic colors - but its some we should face with more often...

As far as I remember this... its lit with two 500Ws-Strobes with 1,5m Octobox and 1,2m Octobox (main-light and effect-light)

wie kommst du darauf, dass die farben patriotisch sein mögen? hattest du den gedanken schon, als du sie gewählt hast oder viel dir das erst im nachhinein auf?

ich hab mal n rest expressives bild gemalt, im leistungskurs kunst. wir warn in der moma und der typ der uns rumgeführt hat, ging mit uns in die danebenliegende werkstatt und wir sollten mit verschiedenen "malwerkzeugen" (schwamm, pinsel, etcpp.) und farbe verschiedene techniken ausprobieren. was am ende dabei rauskommt, war egal.
nun, mein bild war dann doch schon etwas deutlicher zum schluss. recht düster und selbst für mich eigentlich etwas erschreckend. ich hatte zufällig die farben schwarz, rot und gelb gewählt. meine lehrerin kam vorbei und meinte: "das sind ja die nationalfarben? soll das sowas wie das "Elend Deutschlands" darstellen?".. das war natürlich überhaupt nicht mein gedanke bei dem bild. ich hätte sie für diesen kommentar lünchen können

Heheh, the patriotism at play hadn't occured to me, but is a really neat way to approach such an image! The beauty portrayed here is yet again on par with your usual work though - excellent stuff.
