But it's time to get technical...

What setting do you have your 300D on? Parameter 1, 2? Adobe RGB? Set 1,23,3? If so, how is your set set?

What lighting set up do you use?

Usually I shot in RAW, and there are the settings ignored.
But as for testing I use standard-settings on the 300D (Parameter 1 I guess, had not altered it, fits for my needs). For the lightning I use two Studio-Strobes 500Ws with Softboxes on it. One from left, one from right.

Finally getting around to playing with the RAW images. Didn't have much luck with a good RAW decoder in Linux, but now that I've got a newer Windows box, I can use the Canon software.

I'm always curious about lighting kits. Most of my shots are outside, so I don't need a kit right now, but I like to see what folks are using.

Ich kommentier mal nur eins: Die ganze Alicia Reihe bisher is super. Das Bild hier bringt ihr Gesicht imo am besten zur Geltung, und bei Alicia II ist die Mimik sehr beeindruckend. Offen, neugierig, scheu, rätselhaft. Würd mich freuen, mehr von ihr zu sehen. Vielleicht auch etwas mehr von ihrem Körper, sieht ja sehr vielversprechend aus :)
